Best Ski Resorts Where Seniors Get Free Perks

If you love hitting the slopes as part of your retirement, then you might be paying more than you need to be paying for the experience. There are several ski resorts which offer discounts, and even free skiing, if you know to ask.

Here are the places you’ll want to go to have some fun skiing at a discount.

Where Can Seniors Ski for Free?

At Snowbasin in Huntsville, UT, seniors 75 and older receive an annual pass of $99. That’s more than $1,000 off the annual pass rate for adults.

What you’ll find is that the ski-free age at many resorts is much higher than the age minimums for other senior discounts.  At Welch Village Ski Area in Minnesota, for example, the ski-free age minimum is 90.
